A Hidden Bahamian Enclave – Goat Cay

Posted on October 13, 2010

Goat Cay is located on Great Exuma, a jewel in the Bahamian necklace of over 700 Islands.  Nestled on the tip of a secluded peninsula, it is only minutes away from the historic village of George Town.

The property, which rests atop a coral point, is surrounded by lush tropical foliage and a spectacular ocean view. It is a special haven for those who enjoy their privacy.  The surrounding area is renowned as a fishing and boating paradise and offers some of the best snorkeling in the Bahamas. George Town can be reached by air from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, and Toronto.  Goat Cay has four air-conditioned bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms for a maximum accommodation of eight guests. In addition, there is an outside patio for meals, with a dining/living room area overlooking the ocean.  The service of a housekeeper and caretaker are included in the rental fee and on a daily basis, the staff will clean the guests’ rooms and provide laundry service.  A car is also provided for your personal use during your stay.
